In fact I have a scar on my right left ankle from where I fell down a Volcano in Guatemala and broke my leg, although I got off lucky since a few weeks later the Volcano erupted in spectacular fashion. I’m a huge Whitewater rafting fan most weekends in the summer you can find me in Auburn, CA rafting down the American River. Well, I was born in California, but I really grew up in South America-Chile to be exact-and pretty much stayed there until I graduated high school, and then came to the US to go to college. Ha, this is usually a question I get at job interviews! Please tell us about yourself, your many adventures, and your role at SEGA. In the latest installment of our Xbox Live Developer Interview series, we grill Ken Balough, Brand Manager at SEGA, about the upcoming Sonic CD remake.

SEGA is now gearing up to release Sonic CD, a new and improved version of the classic Sega CD game, for Windows Phone and other platforms. Xbox Live Developer Interview: SEGA, makers of Sonic CDĪs our review indicates, I’m a big fan of Sonic 4, the first Sonic game released on Windows Phone. Should've killed her off long time ago and keep her dead. Only that Sally was not killed, but was turned into a robot (like they did before ()). Spoiler: Meh, eventhough they "reset" the universe, nothing changes much. After sealing away the Ifrit's dimension, Silver's future changed for the better - in Colours DS, Silver remarks that the future was pretty much like the present - which, from what I can see of Rush Adventure, the Sol Dimension is not. Not least because while Solaris ceased to exist, as did Iblis, Crisis World continued to exist long after they were gone - instead of being caused by Iblis, Crisis World would be caused by a dragon-like creature called the Ifrit (as shown in Sonic Rivals 2). The whole "Sol is Sonic's Future" theory is very, very unlikely.
I'd stick with the theory of Iblis showing her the vision inadventently. It could even be an effect of the time warp caused by Time Eater in some way (although this is doubtful). The DS version of Colours would suggest this is closer to Generations (although the missions could be considered non-canonical). It's not yet clear whether she actually recalled everything at this point (the dialogue of the game makes this unlikely) so I would say her recovering her memories - probably by a vision shown to her by Iblis' sealed powers (ala Elise at the beginning of Sonic 06) happened somewhere between the end of Rush and the beginning of Generations. Much later, she gains some measure of control over her powers, and soon after, the events of Sonic Rush occur, with Blaze going into Sonic's dimension. As a child she is unable to control her fiery powers, and so is shunned by her peers. When she does so, she dies, but due to Iblis' power, she is reborn as a princess in the Sol Dimension. In Sonic 06, at the end of Silver's story, Blaze seals Iblis within her and vanishes into another dimension (not a 'good' future - I will get to this a bit later on). So, how could this Blaze know about Crisis City?

This world is full of surprises."īlaze is a princess from another diemnsion where she is the appointed guardian of the Sol Emeralds. "I never thought I'd find myself in Crisis City again. All red rings, all stages beaten, hard-mode bosses and all. The continuity error has yet to be addressed though. Silver and Blaze are also talking to each other like old friends at the end of the game. Plus, Blaze seems to remember the events of Sonic '06 - talk to her in the hub and she remarks "I thought I would never be in Crisis City again". However, 06 did serve to show me that the Generations version of Crisis City is appalingly easy in comparison, especially for a stage so late in the game. The load times didn't really bother me that much. Kinda like the freak half-cousin child of Adventure and Unleashed.

Aside from the contrived story and somewhat shaky controls, plus the difficulty spikes once you get up to Crisis City. Plus, I bought Sonic 06 just to see how bad it was.
I'm at a loss as to why they want Travis Willingham when he sounds practically the same as Dan Green. Damn this, I've been trying to post my response for a while now and I've had to restart multiple times due to system freee-up.
